Chief has published a new version of MountBuilder with several exciting new enhancements.
Configuration Sharing
MountBuilder users can now share their configurations with other people by accessing the new 'Share Configuration' button on the final menu. This new feature saves a custom part configuration as a web link that users can copy and paste and post links to their own custom creations anywhere on the Internet. People can click the link to load the fully-assembled configuration into MountBuilder.
Download Specification Packet
MountBuilder can now assemble a "Spec Packet" containing all related, downloadable files for the parts in your configuration. Users can preview and select which files they would like to have included - such as product manuals, technical drawings, brochures, catalog pages, CAD drawings and more - and MountBuilder will automatically gather the files together and compress them into one, convenient .ZIP file archive for download. Now users have easy, one-click access to all available documentation and collateral for the parts in their configurations directly from within MountBuilder.
Custom Flat Panel Mounting Solutions
MountBuilder now has both Custom and Universal Mounts included in both the Ceiling and Wall modules.
Color Options for Wall Mounts
Wall mount parts that are available in multiple colors will now display their proper color designation.
Enhanced Part Removal and Replacement
Now users can quickly and easily remove or replace parts in their configurations while building just by clicking on the 'Remove Part' button in their parts list.
Product Detail Links
Clicking on a part name from within MountBuilder's part menus will now open the product detail page on the Chief website to provide more detailed information about a specific part.
Accessory Depth Calculations
Storage boxes and rotational accessories now have their depths added to the total configuration depth calculation.

Chief has improved the usability and functionality of MountFinder search results. The newly designed filtering system allows you to change multiple filters simultaneously and then search to find the exact mount types you're interested in. The products listed in the returned results now have links to printer friendly pages, larger images, downloads, and videos (if available). Finally, simplified controls for navigating the results pages have been added at the bottom of the page.
The new mobile site provides a simplified user interface formatted specifically for mobile devices.
